This morning I was reading some articles at Neowin and came across Google is way bigger than you realize by Benjamin Rubenstein. It was interesting to see a virtual representation showing the approximate number of dedicated servers from major tech companies. But that’s not why I am writing this post. I started to read the comments of others and found a link on YouTube which I found humorous.
A few days ago I purchased a Motorola Droid from amazonwireless.com. I’ve been loyal Verizonwireless customer for about 10 years. I like their service, it is rare that I drop a call, Customer Service always assisted whenever I called, and the local store is OK.
I’m writing this post using my Droid and the free WordPress app I installed. Typing is a little tricky for me’ and I find my typing skills are slow. Practice makes perfect.
The Droid is the coolest and best phone I’ve ever had. Battery life is not that great, but I blame it on me exploring the phone. I also bought a holster from the local Verizonwireless store.
Looks like I found my new phone.
I’ve been looking into getting a new phone when my contract comes up in 2010. Need to head over to a Verizonwireless store to check one out. I’ven been please with my current phone (LG Chocolate 8550) but I want something new. Besides, anytime a commerical mentions duct tape, SCUD missile, the use of power tools, it’s got to be good. Right??
This morning I read an article at Neowin about the new “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” commercials.
I saw this today from Engadget:

If you get this in a fun meal, does it come with a toy too? I could use a new mouse or USB drive.
Found this on YouTube today.
Tonight I was reading some of my favorite sites, one of them being Neowin.net. They had a story about Nintendo now allowing you to download the Internet Channel for free on the Wii. The browser is Opera which includes Flash Lite 3.1. So I gave it a shot and it wasn’t too bad. It will be several years IMHO before it would replace a browser on a PC, but for the most part I was able to view this site with the YouTube video links, look at the pictures I took at the circus, and search on Google. I tried to read a PDF but received an error stating it could not open it – unsupported file format or something.
Since I don’t have a Wii keyboard, I had to use the remote to point to each letter on the screen keyboard to enter a url.
